05.02.06 - Resident Evil 4 PC (see what i did there?)
Yup, Resident Evil four, easily the best game in the franchise is getting a PC port courtesy of UbiSoft... whether it sucks ass we'll have to wait and see but if you've never played RE4 and/or are PC only, then your in for a real treat!
Quote:
Thanks to Ubisoft, those few of you out there who are PC-only gamers will finally have the chance to own three of Capcom's most popular titles from the last couple years. As per an agreement with Capcom, Ubisoft will be publishing PC versions of Resident Evil 4, the recently released Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, and Onimusha 3: Demon Siege in North America and Europe.

Onimusha 3 will start things off in February. Ubisoft has not yet given out release dates for RE4 and DMC 3: SE.

"Capcom has created fantastic universes which have become blockbuster franchises," said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft. "Ubisoft is excited to be bringing three of the industry's most innovative titles, including Resident Evil 4, which has been recognized by many publications and organizations as the best game of the year for 2005, to PC gamers around the world."

Toshihiro Tokumaru, executive officer at Capcom, commented on the agreement, stating, "Capcom is excited to be taking advantage of Ubisoft's global distribution network to deliver our hottest titles for gamers around the world to play and enjoy. We look forward to working together for continued growth for both companies."
