One of my favorite directors of all-time has to be Terry Gilliam, who has directed such gems as Brazil (in my personal Top 10), Time Bandits, and 12 Monkeys. Even if he spent the better part of the last decade taking huge missteps (I still can't get over how bad Tideland was), he came back strong with the playful Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus and is even returning to a project he abandoned more than 10 years ago. While we all wait to see if The Man Who Killed Don Quixote actually gets past a few days of shooting this time around, Gilliam has a new short premiering on ESPN this Halloween. Premiering this Sunday right before the 1 PM EST. start time of the AMP Energy Juice 500 at Talladega, The Legend Of Hallowdega is a tongue-in-cheek exploration of the lore surrounding the superspeedway. The short, starring David Arquette and Justin Kirk, will be available online at the official site later in the evening.
