A special military unit fights a powerful, out-of-control supercomputer and hundreds of scientists who have mutated into flesh-eating creatures after a laboratory accident.
Surprisingly entertaining film adapation to the hit playstation (and now GameCube) franchise.
House of the Dead director take note, this is how to make a classic zombie film. Treat the zombies in a Romero-esque sense and you have yourself a solid fan base. Although containing generic musical soundtrack 101, there is a pleasant surpise; Marilyn Manson's theme music is extremely atmospheric and deserves a lot of credit. Whilst the film ultimately gets held up in the flaw of every game to movie adaptation, using too much CGI and taunting the audience with the Tyrant and not delivering the good, the film is a good watch.
