Potters Bluff, Rhode Island, may seem to be a sleepy little town. At least for the casual visitor and the local sheriff, Daniel Gillis. However, all of a sudden, there are a lot of strange accidents where strangers or people passing through are killed. Fortunately, the town has an excellent undertaker, William G. Dobbs, who can take care of this sudden death-wave. Gillis soon discovers clues that lead to many of the local inhabitants, including his own wife Janet.

Comments:
One of the better films that inhabits the BBFC's video nasty list. This is an absolute classic. Written by the writers behind Alien, and joined by the oscar winning SFX wizard behind the Alien, Stan Winston, this is a violent and gorey terror film.
The first thing that strikes you about this movie is the brutal, violent realism and its understandable that the conservative BBFC reacted the way it did. Still this is one of the better notorrious films and should be on the top of your download list.
This is the uncut version of this movie, from the Blue Underground DVD label. In addition, the audio commentries from the dvd have been included so you can find out more about this great horror classic
