Comment This is said to be the first horror movie from Chile. Considering that is true, I would rate this as rather good. But comparing it to similar movies that were shot before (like Scream) it can be considered as a rip-off. There is nothing really special or unique about it.
The movie begins with a tape recording showing the ending of a graduation party. Students from the Royal School of Santiago get together in a van and drive to a seaside cliff. This is where an accident happens and one girl falls from the cliff and (probably) dies.
Ten years later the members witnessing the accident get slashed one by one. A killer dressed in black and wearing a white mask is on his way to finish them off. Nobody knows who it might be, except Gabriel who is now a pathologist and was also part of the group involved in the accident. He thinks that Angel (the girl who died ten years ago) is back and stalking those, who were responsible for her death.
Later on it gets revealed that it was not truly an accident. Some of the students played a stupid joke, which made Angel get upset and eventually fall from the cliff.
The local police and a detective try to solve this mysterious line of crimes. Finally only Gabriel and Lorena are left, who know about what actually happened after the graduation party. Is it too late for them to stop the killer?
There is a twist at the very end. This is however not original enough to make the movie stand out from similar films. There could (and should) have been much more slashing in this one. I feel a bit disappointed after watching it twice. It is simply missing any original ideas and thus doesn't belong to the memorable flicks of this genre.
