In 1889 the town of Rejection, Nevada grew up almost overnight to support the Bottom DOllar mine, where a major silver strike had been made. But the mine operation was devastated when 17 men were killed in one day by a mysterious, unseen force. The miners abandoned the site and refused to work it.
As quickly as the bottomtown had grown, Rejection began to die as resident moved away in search of greener pastures. It would be up to the last remaining townsfolk and the mine's Eastern owner, one Hiram Gummer, to try to solve the mystery. What they uncovered was terrifying, but they would have to face it to save the mine - and their town.
