The cellar of an old hotel is built on top of the door to the beyond. Bloody zombies roam there. A young woman who is heir of the hotel wants to restaurate it. She is confronted with strange events. A painter has a lethal fall, the plumber vanishes and her friend breaks his neck. When she escapes to the hospital of a friendly doctor she doesn't know what a nightmare is waiting there...

One of the best video nasties! This is highly recommended viewing. Whilst the plot goes all stupid several times, and of course Lucio Fulci is milking the success of his zombie movies yet again, this one delivers better than a lot of his movies. With buckets of cheesey italian gore (such as a stupid lass that can't help but fall over and knock a bottle of acid over her face for some weird reason), the real action begins with the zombie hords. Silly as hell, but we just don't care! Download this if you don't have it!
