This film is the cult classic that spawned the hit broadway musical, which inturn was made into a movie. The DVD isn't the most brilliant source, but it isn't that bad considering this film was made in 1960 on a low budget..
Very original concept and funny, plus the added bonus of seeing Jack Nicholson in an early role make this a good movie to watch. The storyline follows that of the 1980s version that everyone knows and loved, but the end is different, as they always are in these instances. Worth a download, if only to see Jack Nicholson :)
